The 2011 Chevrolet Camaro rebirth continues with a new 2-door convertible model scheduled for later in the year. The three pony car coupes that were so well standard at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show have new slightly toned-down body styles, new trim packages, and upgraded engine specs. The body is a re-engineered version of the classic 1969 design. Five trim levels are offered: LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS. Rumors of a 2011 version of the fabled Z28 have been put on hold, mostly due to the slow economy and high cost of gasoline.
